The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving bids for construction services for the Signals - N. 4th Street Ph 1 project. This project involves replacing and upgrading the signals along N. 4th Street at five intersections: N. 4th Street with E. 1st Avenue, E. 2nd Avenue, E. 5th Avenue, E. 7th Avenue, and E. 17th Avenue. The work includes new signal poles, controllers, wiring, radar detection, poles, incidental lighting, power distribution, storm sewer, water, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract. Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted. All bid documents (Invitation for Bid, technical specifications, plans, and future addenda) will be available for review and download on Bid Express after the IFB is published. Firms must meet the mandatory requirements stated in the IFB for a bid to be considered for contract award. Vendors must register on the Vendor Services portal before doing business with the City of Columbus and must be contract compliant to do business with the City.
