Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Oak Ridge, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,204-square-foot water / sewer project.

The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications. In general, Work consists of constructing a new PFAS treatment facility at the Moosepac Wells which will include the following: construction of a new approximately 43' x 28' building and associated appurtenances, furnishing and installing PFAS treatment vessels, furnishing and installing interior process piping, furnishing and installing caustic soda system, furnishing and installing chlorination system, furnishing and constructing underground process wastewater holding tank, furnishing and installing exterior standby generator, furnishing and constructing underground yard piping, construction of fence, and replacement of existing well pumps and motors. The project sponsor has identified that the SED utilization goal for this project is 10%. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent on the enclosed Bid Bond and Consent of Surety Forms from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit the bid security. Bidders are required to comply with Affirmative Action Regulations and Stockholder's Disclosure Regulations. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of the Township of Jefferson makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. The contract is funded in part by New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust and the successful bidder must comply with all provisions for the participation of small business enterprises owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDs). The SED utilization goal for this project is 10 percent, which shall be accomplished by subcontracting portions of the work to SEDs or by establishing unrestricted bidding procedures to fulfill the requirement. All applicable surety bonds required must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List.
