Sealed bids are requested for the 2025 Multi-Use Path System at John A. Phillips Park, Old Bridge Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey. Specifications, plans, and forms of bid are available electronically upon request, or as a hard copy for a fee. Bids must be submitted on standard forms furnished by the county, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name, and accompanied by a bid guaranty for not less than 10% of the bid amount (not to exceed $20,000), with an option of Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond. A consent of surety letter from a responsible bonding company is also required. All business organizations must submit proof of registration with the New Jersey State Department of Treasury. Compliance with affirmative action and prevailing wage reporting rules is required. Bids may be held for up to sixty days for review and bidder qualification. Withdrawal of a bid due to mistake is allowed within five days after bid opening. The lowest responsible bidder must submit Manning Table Form AA201 to the Affirmative Action Office before contract signing. The county reserves the right to reject any and all bids as provided by law. Questions or requests for information must be submitted in writing as per Section 101.04 and received by: April 20, 2026. The County will not be responsible for verbal answers to bidder's questions. Inquiries received by the Engineer less than 14 calendar days prior to the bid opening date will not be answered. Responses to the questions will be sent in writing by: April 23, 2026.
