Renovation of a laboratory facility in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.

The work includes the removal and replacement of all corroded materials within the lab space with stainless steel or powder coated finish. Surfaces include, but are not limited to, eyewash station, cabinetry hardware (pulls, hinges, catches), lab equipment attachments, screws in metal wall paneling at hoods, sink faucets, and more. All lighting is to be replaced with in-grid stainless or powder coated LEDs, and controls are to be upgraded. The HVAC system is to be modified to improve room differential pressure to neutral to the hallway and add filtration to improve external airborne environmental particulate infiltration; the target particle count should match neighboring labs. HEPA filters are to be added to the supply HVAC system. Booster fans on main supply or fan-filter units are to be used to improve room differential pressure to neutral to hallway. Electrical design is required to power mechanical equipment for the HVAC upgrade. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. Bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference. Questions concerning a bid must be directed in writing to the designated Design Professional (architect or engineer) no less than ten (10) calendar days before bids are due unless provided otherwise via an addendum.
