Site work for a water / sewer project in Brownstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for final restoration work associated with a water main break repair. Bids shall be submitted online and will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. All bidding documents are available at no cost. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid amount, a Workmen's Compensation Affidavit, Public Works Employment Verification Form, and an Anti-Collusion Affidavit must accompany each bid. Bids must remain open for 60 days from the bid opening and may not be withdrawn during this period. The successful bidder(s) must provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price. The project is a local highway project with an estimated cost of less than $100,000 and is not subject to Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rates per PA Act 89. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.
