Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bushnell, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
Bids are invited for the Washington Street Intersections Improvements project, including complete intersection replacement at Twyman and Washington Street, and Hess and Washington Street. Work involves pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk removal and replacement. A certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a Bid Bond with acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must accompany each Bid. The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and requires compliance with Federal prevailing wages, Section 3 (24 CFR Part 75), and nondiscrimination in employment. Bidders must not be excluded from participating in any federal assistance program. The City of Bushnell, Illinois, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive informalities. Bids may be held for up to 30 days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications prior to contract award.
