Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Tangent, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,400-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

Schedule A consists of construction of a new 40x60x10 park pavilion with a new concrete slab. Steel construction with stained cedar wrapped columns for a heavy timber aesthetic, concrete footings, T3 standing seam metal roof, and electric lighting and power outlets. Schedule B consists of construction of a new 40x60x10 park pavilion with a new concrete slab. Timber construction with stained cedar wrapped columns for a heavy timber aesthetic, concrete footings, T3 standing seam metal roof, and electric lighting and power outlets. Only one schedule will be selected by the Owner. Sitework for both schedules includes expanded parking lot including widened driveway approach, culvert extension, and interior sidewalk with valley gutter; water service line extension from existing site plumbing; and upgrade of an existing electrical circuit from City Hall main panel to provide service to the pavilion via a new subpanel. Bids not fully completed in accordance with the instructions to bidders will not be considered. A Bid Security executed in favor of the Owner in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the Bid is required. Bid Security is to be forfeited as fixed and liquidated damages should the Bidder neglect or refuse to enter into a Contract and provide suitable insurance certificates, bonds, and other required documents for the faithful performance of the work in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract. All bidders must be equal opportunity employers, provide proof of an employee drug testing program, be registered with the Construction Contractors Board and comply with all state and federal laws. Each Bidder must submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form, Evidence of Authority to Sign Bid, and Evidence to do Business in the State within two working hours of the time for receipt of the Bid. Contractors and all subcontractors shall pay at least the state prevailing rate of wage as determined under ORS 279C.815. No Bid will be received or considered by the Owner unless the Bid contains a statement that Bidder will comply with the provisions of 40 USC 276a and ORS 279C.840 and a statement as to whether the Bidder is a resident Bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive all informalities, and to accept such Bids that in the opinion of the Owner are in the best interest of the Owner. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must prequalify five (5) days prior to the bid opening with the Owner. Estimated construction cost for the Basic Bid is for either schedule is between $260,000 and $290,000. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents.
