Site work for a water / sewer project in Midland, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes the cleaning, television inspection, and preparation of pertinent inspection reports for all inspections as outlined in the contract documents. The work consists of sewer line cleaning and closed-circuit televising (CCTV) inspection of approximately 38,700 linear feet of 8 to 60-inch diameter sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and combined sanitary storm sewer. All bidders are required to purchase the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit from QuestCDN. Proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. No bid bond will be waived or returned for noncompliance with requirements. Contractors must demonstrate compliance with federal Executive Orders regarding Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and show the Six Good Faith Efforts to solicit DBE firms. The procurement is subject to the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
