Site work for a water / sewer project in Brokenstraw Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Scope of work is for a drainage improvement project consisting of approximately 180 feet of 18" HDPE pipe, ~2530 tons of 2RC for ditch and road profile fill, and ~720 feet of 6" perforated underdrain tile bedded in 60 tons of AASHTO #57 and topped with 190 tons of AASHTO #1. All cross pipes require head and end walls with energy dissipation aprons (R4/R5) at the outlets as needed. Existing cross pipes also require head and end walls with R5/6 for outlet stabilization. Bid is for HDPE pipe, drain tile, aggregate, rip rap, seed & mulch, labor (at prevailing rate as applicable) and equipment. Compaction equipment for pipe installation and fill placement required. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked, and must include a certified check or bank draft payable to Brokenstraw Township or a satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. A performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the awarded contract will be required. Proposals must be submitted on prescribed forms. The Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
