Excavation holes will be filled by others with proper lifts and compaction methods. Others are responsible for placing Class 5 gravel at a minimum of 6" below the bottom of the existing pavement profile. If needed, Restoration Contractor shall remove Class 5 gravel to proper depth. Asphalt patch depth shall match existing street pavement depth. Others are responsible for all sawcutting for their water utility hole excavations. Additional sawcutting to get a proper edge or as directed by the Inspector may be required by the Restoration Contractor as needed.
