The GENERAL CONSTRUCTION work generally consists of approximately 33 wall openings for PTAC units with a wall sleeve as well as lintel support for each unit, patch and repair exterior fa ade to match existing. Existing exterior wall for first and second floor is 12" thick with 4" brick face with and 8" CMU Block. The Third floor is 8" thick with 4" brick face with a 4" CMU block. The MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION work generally consists of minor demolition of existing electric baseboard radiators, associated wiring and thermostats . Installation in each apartment of a new PTAC unit and thermostats. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Clinton County Housing Coalition, Inc., U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. The construction period for this project is 90 consecutive calendar days.
