Indiana University desires to increase the capacity of the plant by installing a third chiller, third cooling tower cell, and associated pumps, piping and control equipment. B. Mechanical System Upgrade a. The existing chilled water system is a variable primary variable secondary system consisting of: (1) Two (2) variable speed chillers (2) Two (2) primary chilled water pumps (3) Two (2) secondary chilled water pumps (4) Two (2) condenser water pumps (5) Two (2) cooling tower cells (6) The total rated load of the existing system is 1500 tons. b. Contractor shall modify the system by installing the following equipment (supply as noted): (1) One (1) variable speed chiller, provided by Contractor. (2) One (1) primary chilled water pump, supplied by Contractor (3) One (1) condenser water pump, supplied by Contractor (4) One (1) cooling tower cell, supplied by Contractor.
