Sealed proposals are requested for the Covington Township 2026 Roadway Improvement Project - Union Mill Road, consisting of two base bids: Base Bid #1 involves work on Union Mill Road Station 0+00 to Station 5+58, including approximately 1,420 SY Bituminous Wearing Course 9.5 MM Mix, 1,420 SY Bituminous Binder Course 19 MM Mix at 2-1/2" depth, 250 SY of Type 3 2A Aggregate Shoulder, and related work. Base Bid #2 includes work on Union Mill Road Station 5+58 to Station 108+25, with approximately 21,950 SY Bituminous Wearing Course 9.5 MM Mix, 9,240 SY Bituminous Binder Course 19 MM Mix at varying depths, 4,600 SY of Type 3 2A Aggregate Shoulder at varying depths, and related work. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, payable to Covington Township. The Township may reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Bidders shall not discriminate by reason of gender, race, creed, or color against any qualified citizen of the Commonwealth available to perform the work.
