Mowing, trimming, leaf removal, mulching and pruning at four Watauga County-owned properties. Watauga County reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted for this project. Mow grass at Medic Bases 2 & 3 to keep it 2 1/2 " - 3 1/2 " in height from March 15 - November 15. The frequency of mowings shall be at least one time per week and more often if needed. Grass shall be trimmed around buildings, posts, sidewalks with powered trimmers. Chemical spray shall not be used to trim. Watauga Gorge grass shall be maintained 3"- 5" and shall be mowed at least every 10 days. The bank shall be trimmed one time per month. Valle Crucis River Access shall be mowed at least every 10 days. The contract shall begin July 1, 2026, and shall continue through June 30, 2027. The contract may be extended for an additional year if agreeable to both parties. A maximum of three contract renewals will be allowed.
