Proposals will be received online for street improvements on Township Roads, which include: resurfacing and repairs on Jenners Ponds Road, base repair on Hilton Road, and resurfacing at the intersection of East Ewing Road and N. Jennersville Road. The scope includes milling, base repair, paving fabric installation, placement of leveling and wearing courses, binder build-up, curb and joint sealing, thermoplastic lane and edge markings, stop bars, legends, as well as fine grading, top soil, seeding, and mulching for roadside swale where indicated. Each bid must include security of at least ten percent of the total bid, a signed commitment of the proposed Surety to execute a Performance Bond, Letter of Intent, and Non-Collusion Affidavit. Bidders must be prequalified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The successful bidder will need to provide a Contractor's Performance Bond and a Labor and Materialmen's Bond equal to the accepted bid amount, from a Surety Company rated "A" or higher and authorized to do business in Pennsylvania. The bond must not include a reinsurer. No bid withdrawal is allowed within sixty days after bid opening. Prevailing wage rates and all applicable laws and regulations apply.
