The scope of work includes providing labor, materials, and equipment necessary for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing motorized public boat launchers and Dry Storage hydraulic boat launchers as requested by authorized staff. It also includes providing solutions through fabrication of designs requested for a variety of specific challenges on Port property or equipment, which will involve electrical work, hydraulic work, welding, machining of custom parts, installation, troubleshooting, and engineering consultation as requested as part of the specific work request provided by the contractor from their equipped shop. Bidders must ensure compliance with the following requirements: - Sealed bids must be delivered to the specified address or emailed as directed. Late bids will not be considered. - The Port intends to establish a unit price, as-needed contract for these services for a three-year period, with an option for one additional year. - Payment of prevailing wages is required, with submitted filings for each work request. - Required insurance includes Commercial General Liability, Business Auto, Worker’s Comp, and Employer’s Liability; USL&H insurance may be required for work over water. - Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate. - Bidders are responsible for checking and acknowledging any addendums posted before submitting bids. - The Port reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities or informalities. - Register as a Bidder via Builders Exchange of Washington to receive addenda notifications and to be placed on the Bidders List.
