Site work for a civil project in Muscatine, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Phase 6E work includes general construction of approximately 6,290 feet of new 8-inch and 12-inch sanitary sewer on Logan Street, Newell Avenue, Climer Street, and Maiden Lane, and approximately 813 feet of 8-inch cured in place lining of sewer on Fletcher Avenue, and 31 feet of polyurethane lining of a 48-inch sewer near Iowa Avenue. Storm sewer work includes approximately 5,560 feet of new 12-inch to 30-inch storm sewer, inlet piping, and inlets. Approximately 500 feet of water main relocation is included. All sub-phases include the following work: manholes, sanitary service connections, new inlets, inlet piping, water services, full-width pavement removal and replacement, sidewalk construction, sodding, and other related work. Granular pipe backfill material shall be used under the street and is included with the pipe price along with trench spoil material removal to a contractor selected location. Bids sent by mail, delivery system, fax, hand-delivered, emailed, or other electronic submittal means will not be considered. Bidders are highly encouraged to view site conditions prior to submitting bids.
