Soliciting bids to purchase and install Bird Safe 2 x 2 inch Square - Dot Pattern (e.g., CollidEscape, Friendly Feather, or approved equivalent) film. The film is to be installed on the exterior of up to approximately 1500 square feet of select windows and doors across two plus stories of MassWildlife's Field Headquarters at 1 Rabbit Hill Rd., Westborough, MA. Scope of Work: The Contractor is responsible for completion of all items listed herein. The project will be considered finished when the State Ornithologist has confirmed that each item is satisfactorily completed. The MassWildlife Field Headquarters is located at 1 Rabbit Hill Road, Westborough, Massachusetts. Bidder will purchase and install Bird Safe 2x2 inch Square - Dot Pattern window film on the exterior of specified windows and doors following the guidelines provided by the product manufacturer. Commercial bulk-applied patterning may be available for full pane installation. Bidder is to follow the manufacturer's guidelines regarding film application including, but not limited to, storing the film correctly to ensure the film is not damaged from receipt until install, cleaning the exterior windows and doors prior to install, installing the film during ideal surface temperatures, and ensuring the film bonds to the window surface. All measurements are approximate and Contractors are responsible for verifying dimensions prior to submitting their bids. Available architectural drawings of the MassWildlife Field Headquarters can be found in Appendix E. Bidder is not to leave materials, tools, equipment, or refuse unattended during installation.
