Site work for a water / sewer project in Sooke, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
BC Hydro requires the supply and operation of a barge and crane system capable of safely lifting, positioning, and installing reservoir boom anchoring systems. This work includes the handling and placement of can buoys and precast anchor blocks or anchor clusters using a crane mounted on the barge. Work also includes the transportation of an Owner-supplied excavator across both the JOR and ELL reservoirs, as well as the transport of 27 lock blocks across the ELL Reservoir. The winning contractor will be responsible for the drilling, grouting, curing, and testing of shore rock anchors at the JOR Reservoir.
