The Town of Stony Plain is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide services for detailed design and tender support for various pedestrian crosswalk safety improvements and traffic calming measures throughout the town. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor to the Town and provide professional support in reviewing and assessing transportation safety concerns, which may include sightline obstructions, speeding, inadequate pedestrian crossing opportunities, non-compliant signage or pavement markings, insufficient lighting, sidewalk discontinuities, accessibility barriers, and driver yielding or compliance issues, as required, over the term of the contract.
