The work includes the construction of the Montezuma Park Improvements Project in the Village of Montezuma, Ohio. The project consists of seawall installation and other miscellaneous improvements. Bids must be signed and submitted on the provided bidding forms, sealed in the designated envelope, and accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for 100% of the bid amount or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for not less than 10% of the bid amount, subject to specified conditions. The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for 100% of the bid amount. All contractors and sub-contractors are required to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor where practicable, and must comply with equal employment opportunity requirements and other legal provisions. Bidders are advised of requirements regarding Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates, encouragement of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) utilization, insurance, and equal employment opportunity provisions. Only bids from bidders listed on the Engineer's official list of plan holders will be accepted. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors as permitted by law.
