The City invites qualified professional design firms to submit qualifications to undertake the River Ave., F St. and First St. Waterline Replacement project. This project involves: o Replacing approximately 1750 linear feet of existing six-inch waterline with a new eight-inch PVC waterline on River Ave. from Cedar Point Dr. to F St. Tying in all existing connections, replacing hydrants, as necessary. Limited storm sewer installation shall be included. Replacing all service lines up to, and including the meter pit, in conjunction with Water Distribution Staff. o Replacing approximately 520 linear feet of existing six-inch waterline with a new eight-inch PVC waterline on F St. from River Ave. to First St. Tying in all existing connections, replacing hydrants, as necessary. Replacing all service lines up to, and including the meter pit, in conjunction with Water Distribution Staff. o Replacing approximately 1020 linear feet of existing six-inch waterline with a new eight-inch PVC waterline on First St. from Cedar Point Drive to F St. Tying in all existing connections, replacing hydrants, as necessary. Replacing all service lines up to, and including the meter pit, in conjunction with Water Distribution Staff. o Alternate bidding the resurfacing all of the pavements upon completion of the underground utility work and restoration. Estimate being complete by July of 2026 to allow time for staff to bid in mid to fall 2026; for work to begin late in the 2026 construction season.
