The City of Vallejo is soliciting sealed Quotes for On-Call Pump Repair and Machining Services. This RFQ may be a single award or multiple awards based on the recommendations of the evaluation teams. The contract will not guarantee any set payments to the Contractor and is subject to funding approval by the City Council. The on-call work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, and facilities required for pump and equipment inspections and repair services as needed by the City of Vallejo. The Contractor will provide pump and equipment inspections as well as repair services at the Contractor’s workshop/facility or any of the City-owned or leased properties including, but not be limited to, the areas located within the City of Vallejo such as the Fleming Hill Water Treatment Plant, Green Valley Water Treatment Plant, Travis Air Force Base Water Treatment Plant, 26 pump stations, Lake Frey, Lake Madigan, Lake Curry, Skyview Tank, Cordelia Reservoir, and other reservoirs. Contractors who submit quotes will need to demonstrate their respective shops possess the type of equipment to perform the following: • Dynamic balancing equipment • Shaft machining capability • Vertical turbine pump repair capability • Hydrostatic and performance testing capability • Laser alignment tools • Vibration analysis capability • Adequate lifting equipment
