Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North River, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

This project is part of the City's annual infrastructure improvement efforts and impacts multiple areas of Fargo each construction season. The purpose of the project is to correct deficiencies on the streets that have developed over time. As part of the project, the Contractor will be mud-jacking sections of the curb and gutter in an effort to alleviate major drainage problems. This process involves coring small holes through the curb and gutter section (and driveway apron when necessary) and injecting grout through holes to raise the gutter to the desired grade. The Contractor will replace areas of broken up pavement as well as a limited amount of curb & gutter. The Contractor will also be replacing some sections of sidewalk that need to be updated to meet new standards for the Americans with Disabilities Act. After all the concrete work has been completed the Contractor will mill off some of the asphalt and put on a new lift of asphalt. The project will take place in four different areas. This project is needed to correct deficiencies on the streets that have developed over time. By milling and overlaying the roads at this time, we can extend the life of the road and get a better riding street with improved drainage. Substantial Completion Date: September 25, 2026 Final Completion Date: October 25, 2026 The estimated cost of construction is $1,884,682.00. The project shall proceed in the following order: A. Mud jack curb and gutter (Engineer will mark out areas to be mud jacked). B. Remove and replace curb and gutter, inlet repairs and driveways where marked. C. Install or replace ADA Ramps and sidewalk. D. Replace manhole castings as marked in the field. E. Milling of street sections and patching. F. Level all sections where required by the Engineer where overlay exceeds lift depth by 3/4 inch. G. Install detector loops. Engineer will mark locations. H. Pave asphalt overlay. Adjust all manholes and gate valve boxes as you pave. I. Clean manholes/inlets, and gate valve boxes. J. Install all pavement markings. K. Attend to any remaining clean-up items.
