Sealed bids will be received online for the Schuylkill County - CDBG Borough of McAdoo Hancock Street - Phase III Drainage Project. The project involves a base bid and alternate bid, including the installation of a new storm sewer pipe, two inlets, and ancillary roadway and sidewalk repairs. The items of work are identified in the Bid Form, Contract Specifications, and Contract Documents. The whole project will be awarded to one contractor. All bidding documents are available at no cost online. A satisfactory bid bond naming the County of Schuylkill as obligee and acceptable surety in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid must be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the owner.
