Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Parsippany, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
A request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing, by fax to the Township Purchasing Agent at (973) 263-4377, at least seven (7) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. The project consists primarily of the milling and resurfacing of various streets at various locations within the Township, including minor drainage improvements such as resetting castings. Resurfacing limits may be sections of a road or entire streets as directed by the Township. A list of specific streets and quantities will be provided prior to the start of construction. Major estimated quantities include Hot Mix Asphalt Milling (3" or less): 85,000 S.Y.; HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course (2" thick): 10,800 Tons; Concrete Curb: 2,000 LF; Granite Block Curb: 1,000 LF; Concrete Sidewalk (4" thick): 1,000 SY; Detectable Warning Surface: 500 SF. Bidders must submit bids in a sealed envelope labeled "2026 Road Resurfacing Program," accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid (not to exceed $20,000.00). Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. The Township reserves the right to waive minor formalities and reject any or all bids in accordance with applicable law.
