Site work and paving for a road / highway in Slatedale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Washington Township will receive sealed bids online for road paving on various roads within the township. The project consists of "In Place Paving" with Base Bid Quantities including 2,800 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, WMA 180 lb/sy Wearing Course, and 932 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, WMA 60 lb/sy Leveling Course. Alternate Bid Quantities include 690 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, WMA 180 lb/sy Wearing Course, and 231 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, WMA 60 lb/sy Leveling Course. All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders may be either a PENNDOT prequalified Prime or Sub Contractor and must supply proof of prequalification. Bids must be submitted electronically, accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price within 20 days of contract award and provide acceptable liability insurance before starting work. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages apply.
