Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Portage, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.

Sealed bids, in triplicate, for the Portage Public Schools, Amberly Elementary Bid Pack 3 Structural Steel are requested. Bidders must be reputable, recognized organizations with at least five years of successful experience on similar work, possess a license where required, and have ample financial resources for work of this magnitude. Each bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder and any member of the District's Board of Education or the Superintendent of the District. Each bid must also include bid security or a bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to secure Performance, Labor, and Material bonds for all contracts exceeding $50,000 from a surety company rated A- or better, for the full contract amount. Bids must be received by the specified deadline, may be mailed or dropped off at the indicated office, and faxed, emailed, or electronically uploaded bids will not be accepted. Bidders are encouraged to attend a virtual construction pre-bid meeting. FAXED, EMAILED OR UPLOADED TO BUILDING CONNECTED BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
