Sealed bids, in triplicate, for Amberly Elementary School - Bid Package 4, are invited. Bids must be submitted in person at Portage Central High School Community Room or mailed to the O-A-K Kalamazoo Office, and must arrive before the stated deadlines. Faxed, emailed, or electronically uploaded bids will not be accepted. Each bid must include a notarized Familial Disclosure Statement regarding any familial relationships between the bidder and the District's Board of Education or Superintendent. A virtual pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders, who are encouraged to attend. Bidding documents can be reviewed online or at specified plan rooms. Bidders must be organizations of recognized repute, with at least five years of experience on projects of similar type and scope, hold necessary licenses, and have sufficient financial resources. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security or a bid bond of no less than 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must also secure Performance, Labor, and Material bonds for contracts over $50,000 from a highly rated surety company.
