Sealed bids are invited for the Portage Northern High School and Portage Central High School Tennis Court Repair and Resurfacing Project. Bidders are encouraged to visit the project sites to verify existing conditions and familiarize themselves prior to submitting proposals. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of successful experience on similar athletic court resurfacing projects, proper licensing as required by public authorities, and adequate financial resources to perform the work. Each bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement as required by Section 1267 of the Revised School Code, and a bid security or bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bonds for contracts exceeding $50,000, issued by a surety company rated A- or better, for 100% of the contract amount.
