Furnish all necessary labor, supplies, equipment, materials and incidental items for the BMX Turn Construction project. Sealed bids must indicate the bid name and number and be submitted on proposal forms as identified in Section 5 (or exact copies thereof). Submit a marked original, two paper copies, and one PDF electronic copy on a USB drive of the bid proposal forms for review. Bids require a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total base bid (including contingency), made payable to the City of Oldsmar. The successful bidder will, within ten days after acceptance of the proposal, enter into a contract with the City for the services proposed to be performed. The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to accept or reject any or all bids in part or in total. A. Furnish materials, labor, transportation, services, and equipment necessary to perform all earthwork operations related to the skate park as indicated on the Drawings complete as shown and as specified herein. B. The work of this Section includes all earthwork required for construction of the WORK. Such earthwork shall include, but not be limited to, the loosening, removing, loading, transporting, depositing, and compacting in its final location of all materials wet and dry, as required for the purposes of completing the work specified in the Contract Documents, which shall include, but not be limited to, the furnishing, placing, and removing of sheeting and bracing if necessary to safely support the sides of all excavation; all pumping, ditching, draining, dewatering, and other required measures for the removal or exclusion of water from the excavation; the supporting of structures above and below the ground; all backfilling around structures and all backfilling of trenches and pits; the disposal of excess excavated materials; alluvial removals, selective grading of expansive soils, soil importing, borrow of materials to make up deficiencies for fills, and all other incidental earthwork, all in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. This project will renovate the three asphalt turns consisting of very high, and specific, degrees of slope as well as the renovation of the 3rd straight containing specialized rollers and tables consisting of clay and slurry at the Oldsmar BMX Supercross Track in Oldsmar Florida. This project is highly specialized and requires expert workmanship as this facility hosts local, regional, and international events through its sanctioning agreements with the USA BMX and UCI governing bodies
