Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for the Lorain County Regional Airport Rehabilitate Main Apron Project - Phase 3, in accordance with prepared specifications. All contractors are expected to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor to the extent practicable, and all labor shall be paid at least the prevailing wage rate as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor. Bidders must submit a list of equipment available, prepare bids on official documents obtained from the County (as a plan holder of record), and enclose the bid in an envelope marked with the project name. Bids must include a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or Letter of Credit for 10% of the amount bid or a contract bond for the full amount as a guarantee. Each bid must state the full name(s) and company submitting. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities. Requests for interpretation, correction, or modification to specifications must be submitted in writing at least seven days prior to bid opening.
