The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision of labors necessary to complete the work. The project includes the removal and replacement of approximately 7,600 square feet of 4-inch concrete sidewalk in the City of Elyria downtown area on Middle Avenue between Broad Street and 2nd Street (east side of street). Bidders must use the forms provided and cannot take exception to the specifications. Bids must include a bid guaranty meeting all requirements of Section 153.54 of the ORC. Contractors and subcontractors, to the extent practicable, are to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Work must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Compliance with prevailing wage rate requirements and submission of an acceptable Affirmative Action Plan are required. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. The City reserves the right to waive technicalities or informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept any bid with any combination of alternates deemed most favorable to the City at the time and under the conditions stipulated in the project documents.
