Project primarily consists of the construction of Taxilane C. Bids shall be based on a unit price basis as shown in the Form of Proposal. A bid guaranty is required per Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 153.54, either a certified check representing ten percent (10%) of the proposal or a bid bond in the sum of 100 percent (100%) of the proposal in lieu thereof must accompany each proposal. Per ORC 153.571, a performance/payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required after the award of the contract. Bids of Corporations not chartered in Ohio must be accompanied by proper certifications that such Corporation is licensed to do business in Ohio. The contractor and all subcontractors for this project must be enrolled in the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Drug Free Workplace Program or in a similar program approved by the Bureau of Workers' Compensation. This project is being funded with Federal dollars. The contractor and their subcontractors shall comply with the appropriate minimum prevailing wages set forth by the federal Davis Bacon Act. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex or national origin. The Western Reserve Port Authority shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
