Description

Renovation of a multi-residential development in New Brockton, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and services for the modernization of Public Housing Site AL149-1, XV, HUD Modernization Project No. AL09-P149-501-25. The scope includes foundation repair, masonry pointing, interior ceiling repairs, and incidental work as directed in the General Notes of the drawings. Bidders must be licensed contractors in Alabama, display their current license number on the sealed bid envelope, and may only obtain plans and specifications if qualified. Bidders are required to inspect the property and conditions. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond of five percent (5%) of the total bid, and the proper HUD forms signed by the bidder. The minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid, and equal employment opportunity regulations apply. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality. Bids may be held for up to sixty (60) days while qualifications are reviewed.
