Renovation of an educational facility in Normal, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,150-square-foot educational facility.

Scope of Proposed Contract The Contractor will be responsible for renovating approximately 12,150 SF of existing corridor and public spaces throughout the Instructional Commons Building (ICB). The scope includes but is not limited to the following: Remove and replace existing flooring with the exception of terrazzo on Level 1. • Remove and replace existing ceilings. The existing grid shall remain in most areas. Patch and repair miscellaneous gypsum wall board surfaces. Paint all walls, door frames, soffits, and miscellaneous surfaces. Remove and replace existing lighting and occupancy sensors. Remove and replace existing HVAC grilles and diffusers. Remove and replace miscellaneous fire alarm and technology devices. • Existing sprinkler system to remain as is, with the exception of installing flexible hoses to each sprinkler head.
