The primary project elements include the following: 1. Drainage improvements south of NRC building including grading, seeding, and turf reinforcement mat 2. Drainage improvements south and east of the ICN building including grading, seeding, stone walls, pipe culverts, and plant material 3. Lighting improvements along the pedestrian walkways east of the ICN building and north of both ICB buildings including existing bollard removal, tree removal, turf seeding, and tree planting 4. Lighting improvements along the north/south pedestrian walkway from the Quad to Raab Road including existing bollard removal and turf seeding 5. Drainage improvements northeast of the CDL building including vegetation removal, grading, seeding, and tree planting Heartland Community College District #540 is inviting sealed bids from interested and qualified parties for campus drainage and lighting improvement projects. Work requires compliance with the Illinois Prevaiiing Wage Act, 820 ILCS/.01 et seq. Award is subject to final approval.
