The CITY OF OXFORD is seeking bids from vendors to add Christmas style lights to the existing structure and footprint of the Walk of Lights hosted at mTrade Park at 4259 Old Sardis Road. Bidders should download and review plans and specifications through the City of Oxford's bid portal in order to be added to the planholders list. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled at mTrade Park. Prospective bidders are highly encouraged, but not required to attend. Bids may be submitted via hand-delivery, US Mail, or electronic submission. All bids are due on or before the specified date and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check not less than 5% of the total bid amount. The existing Walk of Lights currently features some of the following elements: o 40-foot-tall Snowman o A light show displaying multiple animations that covered a backstop net appx 40' tall and 90' wide o Four large color-changing C9 Bulbs o Two large stars o 40' x 20' Double Decker Bus o Four snowmen playing tennis o 15' tall Santa batting and five elves playing baseball o 30' wide Oxford Skyline o Hundreds of color-changing lights o 20-40 hanging crab lights o 2D fisherman, dog walker and couple in a canoe o Hundreds of strands of mini lights wrapping more than 20 trees o Simple one-color Christmas tree structures using C9 bulbs o Concession stand building outlined in C9 bulbs o Red garland lighted wrapped in various areas o A 12' wreath arch lighted o 25 generic snowflakes for various placements to fill gaps Now in operation for two consecutive seasons, the Walk Of Lights Expansion 2 is looking to enhance and add to the features already in place. The enhancements are to better define the areas along the path and almost create "detailed environments or areas" based on the given structures and lights in those areas.
