The project involves street improvements for South First Street (Carver St to Front St) and Henry Street (Parkway Dr to S First St) for the Village of Mount Horeb under Contract 26-100. The principal items include: - Excavation: 6,700 CY - Concrete Curb & Gutter: 5,720 LF - Concrete Driveway: 205 SF - Concrete Sidewalk (5"): 11,080 SF - Base Course (12"): 13,800 SY - Bituminous Pavement: 12,200 SY - Water Main: 2,825 LF - Hydrants: 9 EA - Sanitary Sewer Main (Spot Repair): 35 LF - Sanitary Sewer Structures: 2 EA Bidders are required to provide a Statement of Bidder's Qualifications, be a Plan Holder of record, and submit a Bid Bond equal to at least 10% of the bid. The selected contractor must provide a Performance and Payment Bond equal to the contract price within 10 days of award notice. All bids must be in accordance with provided drawings and specifications, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. Portions of the contract are funded by WisDOT LRIP and Dane County MSI funds. Drawings are available electronically from SmithGroup or for inspection at the Village Office. Plan Holders must submit an email address for addenda and indicate their role as prime contractor, subcontractor, or supplier.
