Renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a four-story above grade fire / police facility; and for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This project involves renovating the existing police station on Hamilton St. adjacent to City Hall. The project includes a four-story addition for expanded capacity. Key upgrades involve modernizing HVAC and electrical systems to improve efficiency, comfort, safety, and security. The renovation is designed to enhance functionality, support law enforcement operations, and accommodate the department's growing needs for expansion. The addition will also include new pedestrian bridges connecting to the adjacent parking garage on College St., owned by the Allentown Parking Authority. To download the solicitation, registration with PennBid is required. Vendors must submit sealed bids online via PennBid, including a scanned copy of the Bid Bond in the appropriate drop-down. The proposal page and other required forms must be completed and uploaded through PennBid. Only proposals submitted online and in full compliance with instructions will be considered for award. Proposals may be withdrawn, altered, or modified within PennBid prior to the stated due date and time. All questions regarding the project must be submitted via the "Ask a Question" feature in PennBid. No faxed or emailed proposals will be accepted. Responses received after the stated date and time will be rejected as non-responsive. Alternates which are work of Contract and Alternates that are not work of Contract. 8. Allowances established as work of Contract. 9. Owner furnished material/equipment with installation as work of Contract. 10. Requirements for Owner partial occupancy during the work of Contract.
