The scope of work for Contract No. 26-R01 (Contract A) includes approximately 578 square yards of roadway removal, 2A subbase, subgrade repair, Superpave WMA binder course, Superpave WMA wearing course, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for construction on New Street in the Borough of Georgetown. Contract No. 26-R01 (Contract B) includes approximately 578 square yards of Superpave WMA wearing course overlay, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for construction on New Street in the Borough of Georgetown. All bidders are required to purchase the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $125.00 from QuestCDN using project number 10139425. Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the Borough and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Georgetown. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act for contracts over $25,000, and The Public Works Employment Verification Act.
