Summary Project Description: The Project consists of construction of the supporting infrastructure for the 56,000 s.f. Tennis Dome Building (air supported dome building structure by others) and including the complete construction of the approximately 1,100 s.f.Vestibule Building. Contract scope includes sitework, concrete foundations, utiliies and associated scope for the Air Dome. The Vestibule Building is a Type V wood frame and masonry structure. B. Contract Scope: Construction, demolition, and facility operations during occupancy. C. Project includes coordination with Other Owners constracted scopes of work including 1. Pre-Engineered Tennis Dome building assembly and erection. a. Foundations are to be provided under this general construction contract and not by the Pre-Engineered building contract. 2. Tennis Court Surfacing. 3. Tennis Court Net Assemblies relocation. D. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum). The project consists primarily of general construction work for the Camas Tennis Center located at 26900 SE 15th St, Camas, WA 98607. All work will be under a single-prime contract. Contractors are required to submit base bids, unit costs, alternate bids, and a list of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural steel, and rebar installers by the specified deadlines. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. This is a public works project subject to relevant State of Washington statutes, regulations, and rules, including those pertaining to non-discrimination, wages, employment of nonresidents, bonds, contracts, lien restrictions, taxes, retainage, and barrier-free facilities. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project and contractor name clearly labeled. The base bid project cost is estimated at $2,900,000. No bidder may withdraw or modify their bid for 45 calendar days after bid receipt.
