The work includes the installation of a new sanitary sewer forcemain along the City's wastewater treatment lagoon access road, located off Shoemaker Bay Road, as well as associated tie-ins to the existing Josephine Street Lift Station in Port Alberni, British Columbia. The scope of work comprises the supply and installation of approximately 570 m of 350 mm DR21 HDPE pipe and 6 m of 200 mm DR21 HDPE pipe, a custom stainless-steel header, valves, air valve and flush-out assemblies, two bridge crossings, and tie-ins to the existing flow meter chamber, lift station, and Contract 1 section of forcemain.
