Reference Number 0000420189 The City of Commerce City is seeking competitive bids for Asphalt Mill and Overlay Services as outlined in the Scope of Work throughout the term of the contract. The Commerce City Public Works Department requires pavement maintenance services, including asphalt repairs, milling and overlay, crack repair, pavement marking removal and installation, and bridge deck waterproofing, in order to maintain and extend the service life of City streets and associated infrastructure. o Improve roadway condition and drivability on designated City streets. o Restore pavement markings for safety and regulatory compliance. o Extend the useful life of asphalt surfaces through milling, overlay, and crack repair. o Ensure projects are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to the public. The Work shall be completed in accordance to technical specifications outlined in Attachment G and includes, but is not limited to: o Removal of existing pavement markings at designated locations. o Asphalt repairs including localized patching, surface restoration, and related repair methods. o Asphalt milling and overlay of City streets as assigned by Public Works. o Crack repair and related surface preparation activities. o Installation of pavement striping and markings following completion of asphalt work. o Bridge deck preparation and installation of a waterproof membranes as required. o Additional pavement marking removal or related work as directed by the City due to field conditions.
