Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the North Salinas High School Welding Shop Plumbing project, as described in the contract documents, drawings, and specifications. The lowest bid will be determined by the base bid amount. The contract is not subject to prequalification. Contractors must pay prevailing wages, and compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations applies. Contractors and subcontractors for projects over $25,000 must be currently registered and qualified to perform public work under Labor Code section 1725.5. Bidders must include the public works contractor registration number for all applicable subcontractors. The deadline for completion is July 31, 2026. Bids must be sealed and filed at the specified location by the stated deadline; late bids and fax submissions will not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is required, and bidders not attending will be disqualified. Bids must be accompanied by a bond or check for at least ten percent of the base bid.
