Remodeling of a clubhouse / community center in West Tisbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the remodel of a clubhouse / community center.
Sealed bids are requested for the installation of a multi-zone ductless mini split heat pump for the Senior Center for the Department of Public Works, Tisbury, MA. Bids must be submitted to the Department of Public Works at 115 High Point Lane, Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts 02568, by the designated deadline. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened. The determination of time received will be based on the time clock in the DPW Office. Bid documents and forms can be obtained at the Department of Public Works or by emailing the provided contact. Bidders may not withdraw their bids for thirty days after the date set for receiving quotes. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive, must be adhered to. The bidding and awarding of the contract will be in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 149. Tisbury is an affirmative action/equal opportunity purchaser and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or take any other action deemed necessary in the Town's best interest. The Director DPW for this contract is Mr. Kirk Metell. He can be reached at (508) 696-4220 x 153 or by emailing kmetell@tisburyma.gov Discrepancies, omissions or doubts as to the meaning of Specifications and drawings should be communicated at once to Marie Mariel for interpretation. This request for clarification must be made in writing, via email (mmaciel@tisburyma.gov), prior to the bid opening. Bidders should act promptly and allow sufficient time for a reply to reach them before the submission of their bids and any interpretation made by the Marie Maciel and/or the Engineer/Architect prior to receipt of bids shall be made a part of the Contract.Written addenda resulting from requests for clarifications will be delivered to all listed holders of the Bid Documents no later than (3) business days prior to the bid opening
