Installation of Multi-zone Ductless Mini Split Heat Pump o General intention of contract - The Town of Tisbury is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of multizone ductless mini split system for the Tisbury Senior Center located at 34 Pine Tree Road, Vineyard Haven, MA. o Guarantees - The contractor will warrant all for a period of one year after the completion date of the work order from any defects in workmanship or materials. The contractor will repair any defects in workmanship or materials at no cost to the Town within warranty period The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and material necessary to completely perform the work as specified in the Scope of Services. The contractor shall provide and install Mitsubishi Electric Heat Pump Systems or as equal quality. The contractor shall cross-check equipment availability to qualify for Massachusetts Mass Save Program. Equipment - Contractor shall provide/install o (2) Outdoor Condenser - shall be mounted on the existing wall mounted backets. System 1: single zone and will service the basement the square footage that this shall serve is approximately 3,617 sf the unit shall be large enough to service this area. System 2: multi-zone and will service the offices/conference room, kitchen, entryway, and dance hall the square footage that this shall serve is approximately 3,489 sf the unit shall be large enough to service these areas. o Indoor wall head in the basement (18,000 btu) o Indoor wall head in the offices/conference room (12,000 btu) o Indoor wall head in the kitchen (6,000 btu) o Indoor wall head in the entryway (6,000 btu) o Indoor wall head in the dance hall (24,000 btu) Locations of the indoor wall mounted units shall be agreed upon before installation. Installation shall include venting, refrigerant line, R410a refrigerant, drains, electrical, with proper disconnect, wall mounted thermostats and exterior covers/insulation on all lines. Electrical Work Required - Contractor shall perform (if licensed) or subcontract: o Contractor shall provide and schedule a licensed electrician to perform panel work, wiring, permit and installing outside service disconnect. 1. No oral interpretation will be made. Any interpretations made to bidders will be in the form of an addendum to the Specifications and Drawings that will be forwarded to all bidders. 2. Discrepancies, omissions or doubts as to the meaning of Specifications and drawings should be communicated at once to Marie Mariel for interpretation. This request for clarification must be made in writing, via email (mmaciel@tisburyma.gov), prior to the bid opening. Bidders should act promptly and allow sufficient time for a reply to reach them before the submission of their bids and any interpretation made by the Marie Maciel and/or the Engineer/Architect prior to receipt of bids shall be made a part of the Contract.
