Work also includes removal of mineral deposits and protruding sewer laterals and pre-cleaning and televising of sewers to properly install full length cured-in-place pipe liners. General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - Federally Funded - Installation Required - Insurance Required - Local Service Required - Prevailing Wage Required - Safety Standards Plan - Warranty Information Required - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % The approximate quantities for the major items of work involved in this project are as follows: Sanitary Sewer, CIPP, 10 inch, Full Length 250 Ft Sanitary Sewer, CIPP, 12 inch, Full Length 2,950 Ft Sanitary Sewer, CIPP, 15 inch, Full Length 2,000 Ft Sanitary Sewer, CIPP, 18 inch, Full Length 1,650 Ft Sanitary Sewer, CIPP, 21 inch, Full Length 750 Ft Sanitary Sewer, CIPP, 24 inch, Full Length 550 Ft together with other appurtenances and related items of work. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal, payable to the City of Eastpointe, as security for the acceptance of the contract. A bid bond on the Michigan Standard Form, issued by an approved Surety Company, may be furnished in lieu of a certified check. No bidder may withdraw his proposal within ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for opening thereof. This time frame may be adjusted through material agreement between the Owner and Contractor.
