AIP NO. 3-18-0075-028 Work for which proposals are to be received is for the grading and drainage package for a future runway and taxiway extension at the Salem Municipal Airport, including mass earthwork, storm sewer installation, tree clearing, erosion control, and necessary incidentals to complete the work as detailed on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents titled "Runway 8-26 Grade and Drain, Remaining 2,000" The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. Bids shall be properly executed and addressed to the specified address together with the documents required by the bid forms, specifications, and related legal documents contained in the Contract Documents. Bidders are required to be a plan holder of record having obtained the contract documents through the office of the Engineer. Bids not meeting this requirement will be deemed non-responsive. Each bid shall be accompanied by bidder's financial statement, a statement of experience, a proposed plan or plans for performing the public work, and the equipment that bidder has available for the performance of the public work. Such statements shall be submitted on forms prescribed by the State Board of Accounts, including Bid Forms 96, together with the required non-collusion affidavit. A bid bond or certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid is required. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price will be required.
