The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to plane existing roadway surfaces and overlay with Hot Mix Asphalt; remove existing pavement; remove and replace cement concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks and ADA ramps at two corners; install pavement markings; install video detection systems at Mountain View intersection, perform traffic control; and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete this project. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in a cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Ellensburg. The engineer's estimate for the project is $475,000 to $550,000, plus tax (if applicable).
